Die Lesung der argentinischen Autorin Samanta Schweblin im Literaturhaus Köln markierte den Höhepunkt der Vorlesungsreihe „Escribiendo bajo otro cielo: Autoras latinoamericanas en Europa y Estados Unidos". Die Vorlesungsreihe widmete sich jungen lateinamerikanischen Schriftstellerinnen, die sich nach Herkunft und Muttersprache im Globalen Süden verorten, einen Großteil ihrer Werke jedoch in europäischen Ländern und/oder den USA verfasst haben bzw. verfassen und dennoch in ihrer Muttersprache Spanisch publizieren.
